Attorney Matthew C. Samley on adjunct faculty of HACC

Attorney Matthew C. Samley is now on the adjunct faculty of Harrisburg Area Community College – Lancaster Campus, and will be teaching classes in its Legal Studies Department, specifically in the Paralegal Studies Program.

The Paralegal Studies Program is a HACC Career Program and is approved by the American Bar Association. It is designed to prepare students to work in private, government, and corporate law offices under the supervision of an attorney. Paralegal courses are offered ONLY at the Harrisburg and Lancaster campuses, where complete Pennsylvania law libraries are housed; however, general education/core courses can be taken at any campus or online. Paralegal courses are taught by full-time and adjunct faculty members who have at least two years of practical experience in the area taught. The curriculum is designed to prepare students to conduct client interviews and legal research, write legal memoranda and briefs, perform administrative tasks in the law office, and prepare legal documents related to litigation, estates, bankruptcy, real estate, and domestic relations.
